After two successful years supporting Redgate Sports, we have chosen Sensory Matters Worcestershire (formerly Sight Concern) as our charity for 2026.
Launched in October 2023, Sensory Matters Worcestershire provides information, advice and specialist support to people across Worcestershire living with sight and/or hearing loss. Their service is vital to many who require long-term support to help maintain safety and independence.
Samantha Lloyd, Partner at SME Solicitors, commented: “We are very pleased and proud to announce Sensory Matters Worcestershire as our Charity of the Year. Sensory Matters Worcestershire provides invaluable support to members of the community with sensory impairment and SME is keen to support them wherever we can. We hope that, through a mixture of fundraising, volunteering and raising awareness, SME can be of service to Sensory Matters Worcestershire in their work. The charity is, without doubt, an enormously important resource for those with sensory impairment in Worcestershire and beyond.”
Joanne Webber, Head of Operations at Sensory Matters Worcestershire, added: “We are delighted that SME Solicitors have chosen us as their Charity of the Year. Sensory Matters Worcestershire gives sensory impaired people the support they need to make choices about their own lives. We are excited to be working with SME on a range of fundraising, awareness and community initiatives that will directly benefit the people we serve. Partnerships like this are vital to our work, and we are genuinely grateful for this opportunity.”
We look forward to working alongside the Sensory Matters team on a number of fundraising, volunteering and awareness-building activities over the next twelve months and hope to assist the charity in making a real difference for the people that need them most.
