  • Opening and preparing files to be worked on, then closing them when the case has finished.
  • Onboarding clients and completing any necessary due diligence checks
  • Audio and copy typing letters and other documents, as well as printing and photocopying
  • Handling and making telephone calls and taking messages as appropriate
  • Attending to clients when they have a query or need further assistance
  • Maintaining diaries and ensuring that the team is organised
  • Processing accounts procedures
  • Dealing with courts and tribunals
  • Dealing with barristers and experts and any other third parties
  • Completing court and employment tribunal documentation

You'll be joining a team of experienced dispute resolution specialists who handle a wide range of civil litigation matters with practicality and precision. Our Dispute Resolution department represents both individuals and businesses, giving you exposure to diverse cases and perspectives.

You'll work with Head of Department Guy Salter, who has over 30 years of experience dealing with employment matters and David Denovan-Smith, who has many years of experience in civil litigation and specialises in Contentious Probate matters. Jack Coleman is a solicitor apprentice supporting both David and Guy. There is a collegiate environment within the department where everyone helps each other.

As a Worcester-based firm with deep roots in Worcestershire, you'll benefit from working with longstanding clients and developing your understanding of local business and community matters. This local knowledge enhances the quality of advice we provide.
