Mediation is particularly effective in cases where both parties are reasonably amicable and willing to cooperate. It provides a constructive environment for reaching agreement.

If you choose to handle negotiations yourself or through mediation, you can return to us once everything is agreed. We can then draft your court order, financial statement form, and any pension documentation and submit these to court on your behalf. Depending on your circumstances, you may receive limited advice on specific areas only, reducing overall costs.

By managing the negotiation stage independently, you can significantly reduce costs - but this approach often only works when both parties are cooperating and acting fairly with each other.
