Looking for work experience?
From time to time, we are able to offer work experience placements to A-Level (or equivalent) and University Students who are looking to gain insight into how a law firm operates. Our work experience programme includes spending time with different members of staff and departments that you have indicated an interest in.

There is a great atmosphere in the office, every member of staff is approachable. All the departments work well together and you feel like you have a real stake in the success of the firm. There is also a great social side to SME, ranging from networking events and charity bake-offs to work-arranged outings. When I was a trainee solicitor, I was given great opportunities to learn and develop through genuine hands-on experience. Overall, I think that SME is a really rewarding place to work.
