From Uncertainty to Certainty

From uncertainty to certainty

One of the biggest things that worries clients facing family breakdown is the fear of uncertainty. What is to happen about the children?  What's going to happen about the house?  What about maintenance?  What will happen to my business?

These problems lead to clients not sleeping, becoming run down, arguing or becoming bad tempered but we have a simple tried and tested process that can help.

Sort out the facts

We help you by identifying the issues, explaining what documents are needed, where to get the information you need.

We will explain the law to you in a way that you can understand. There is no need for complicated language and technical jargon.  The law affects your life.  Our job is to make sure you know what it says about the things that affect you.

As a result of the way the law deals with the facts you have given to us you and your spouse or partner and children will have a number of options.  Some of those options will not suit you and some will not suit your spouse or partner.  Some may not suit your children.  But there are always options that are better for everyone.  The options may not be ideal but this is not an ideal situation. We will discuss those options with you and stress test them where necessary so that a solution emerges that is best suited to the overall situation.  If that solution is agreed by everyone it might in some ways not be the best for certain things but if it is something everyone can live with it will be a way forward.

It is always preferable if you and your spouse or partner take the decision about which option to select but if need be the decision can be taken by the court.  We will support you through that process if necessary but well over 95% of our cases do not need contested court procedure.

Once the decision is taken the whole plan still needs to be put into action.  We will help you every step of the way with that.

.......and when that is done you will not be where you were at the beginning of the case and it may take some getting used to but the stress and worry of wondering about what will happen will have gone.  You will have Certainty.
