Brexit

The UK is due to leave the European Union on 29th March 2019. At the time of writing, there is political uncertainty as to whether the UK will leave under a Withdrawal Agreement, or with no deal in place. There are also suggestions being made in parliament of a possible extension to the leaving date or even a second referendum being held to decide whether to revoke Article 50 (which would also need the agreement of all of the other member states).

The implications of Brexit are far reaching and will have an impact on both our commercial and private clients. We have looked at some areas which will be affected as below. Please note that due to the ever changing situation, these articles are only current as at their date of publication. If you require further advice or assistance, please contact Shaun Owen (for commercial or general enquiries), or Guy Salter (for employment enquiries).
